How long does a full overhaul usually take?
A complete mechanical overhaul typically takes two to four weeks, depending on parts availability and the current workshop load. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when the watch is assessed, and we'll contact you if anything changes.
Do you service watches of all brands?
We work on most hand-wound and automatic mechanical movements, regardless of brand. For very recent models or those with proprietary parts still under manufacturer service agreements, we'll advise you honestly at the assessment stage.
Will the dial be polished or refinished?
Not without your agreement. Our approach is to preserve the dial's existing character, including any honest ageing. If the dial has damage that affects legibility, we'll discuss options with you and explain what each approach means for the piece.
What does the seal renewal cover exactly?
The service renews all gaskets — caseback, crown, and crystal where accessible — then performs a pressure test to verify water resistance. You receive a written report stating the resistance level achieved and care tips suited to your intended use.
How do I know the price before handing the watch over?
After we assess the watch, you receive a written estimate outlining the scope and cost. Work only begins once you've read the estimate and confirmed you'd like to proceed. There's no charge for the assessment itself.
